DNRS 447 - Population - Focused Health Promotion (3)

Prerequisites: DNRS 326  
Online course available only to nurses enrolled in the RN-BSN program before Fall 2012. All prerequisites must be completed with a minimum grade of “C” (2.00).
This course focuses on providing students with a knowledge of population-based healthcare interventions to effect changes in health promotion and disease prevention, disaster preparedness, and interventions across the continuum of care in a multicultural society. The course includes three credit hours of theory and clinical projects (45 clock-hours). This course meets the requirement for a written communication course (see Communication Requirements  in the Academic Section of the Academic Bulletin).
