DNRS 328 - Principles of Pathophysiology (4)

Prerequisites: DNRS 326  
Online course available only to nurses enrolled in the RN-BSN program before Fall 2012. All prerequisite(s) must be completed with a minimum grade of “C” (2.00).
This course explores the principles of human physiology and the pathologic processes that alter patient/client lines of defense and resistance. The course will provide the student with an understanding of structural adaptations and functional responses of cells, tissues, organs, and systems. The student will develop the ability to relate clinical manifestations to pathophysiologic changes. This course includes four credit hours of theory (60 clock-hours). This course meets the requirements for a written communication course (see Communication Requirements  in the Academic Section of the Academic Bulletin).
