SONO 413 - Pediatric Cardiac Sonography (3)

Prerequisites: SONO 101, SONO 137, SONO 303
Corequisite: SONO 225, SONO 307
All Sonography prerequisites must be completed with a minimum grade of “C+” (2.30).
This course will provide a study of pediatric congenital heart disease and the resulting effects on growth and development. When applicable, defects will be explored from diagnosis through adulthood and include treatment options, such as surgical repairs, and prognosis. Students will develop a research project to include diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of a pathology.
