SONO 313 - Congenital Heart (3)

Prerequisites: BIOL 144, ENGL 250, SONO 303, SONO 307, SONO 413
Corequisite: SONO 227, SONO 431
All Sonography prerequisites must be completed with a minimum grade of “C+” (2.30).
This course will explore the embryologic development of the human heart. Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of obstetric imaging, including fetal cardiac imaging protocol. Cardiac abnormalities, including those related to abnormal location will be correlated with associated anomalies including syndromes and chromosomal aberrations.
